Original Soviet Cossack Cavalryman’s Shashka Sabre. Hilt has Soviet Hammer & Sickle insignia and the letters C.C.C.P cast into the brass pommel.  Curved blade is 31 ¾ inches long and bears Soviet markings on each side with a date of 1930. Blade condition is excellent. Scabbard is original wooden construction with black lacquer finish and holds a Mosin Nagant 1891/30 rifle bayonet. Guaranteed original.
