Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp with War Department marking and broad arrow. Blade in Very Good original condition. Brass mounted leather scabbard in good condition with War Department marking and regimental numbering.
