Also called the 2 band or Sergeant’s model. B.S.A. Co 1872 manufacture with WD on butt tang. Steel butt plate and fittings. Trigger guard is missing small front screw. Cartouche is visible WD Birmingham with MI 70 regimental identification. Action shows wear and tear with surface pitting from use. 30 ¾ inch barrel is in Good to Very Good condition, bright with rifling clearly visible and minor pitting or frosting apparent. Bar on barrel bayonet lug for mounting Pattern 1860 Yataghan bayonet.
