Sometimes loosely referred to as a Khyber Pass musket. Inscription in Punjabi hand punched into top of barrel denotes a village and state in India; Raj. Barmer, Tehsil, Pachpadra. Muzzle loading percussion musket, approximately .50 calibre, barrel length 33 1/2 inches, smooth bore with some pitting. V notch rear sight, no front blade. Hammer and trigger fully functional. Stock is sound with no significant cracks or chips. Antique rifle, no license required to purchase or own.
