Receiver marked Crown over V.R., Enfield 1873. British war department marked with numerous proofs on barrel. Checkered steel butt plate with Enfield proof on top. Enfield stock cartouche and M C over 20 on opposite side. Bore is very good condition, bright with strong rifling and evidence of frosting which is light corrosion. No cleaning rod.
