Brass rule in wooden carrying case with leather straps. Marked A.& A. Ltd. London and dated 1940, Mk II with British broad arrow military acceptance mark. Fold-up sighting slots at either end of rule. Wooden case has bottom missing. Interesting item, unsure of exact use whether navigation or artillery direction plotting but surely a military use.
