The 20 pdr was the main gun on British Centurion main battle tank and others introduced in 1948. Case dimensions: 84mm x 620mm rimmed. Very unfortunately somebody saw fit to grind all the markings off the base of the casing in the process of mounting onto a wooden base. The primer is also removed and a wooden piece forced into the hole to which the wooden base is fastened using a Robertson screw, thus identifying the demented perp to be a Canadian.
