German Stick Grenade fragmentation sleeve smooth

The Germans copied the idea of a fragmentation sleeve from the Russian RDG33 grenade and the first version developed by the Waffen SS in 1942 was this smooth sleeve. The sleeve slides onto the canister of the Model 1942 stick grenade to produce lethal shrapnel fragments instead of simply explosive concussion. Original.
