Made in USA on contract for British during WWII for use on the British P14 rifle. WW1 British P13 Bayonet with Frog for sale. Manufactured in May 1917 by Remington. Fitted with an unusual web belt carrying frog for WW2 Home Guard or Veteran’s Guard use. The original US belt hooks on the scabbard have not been removed. Blade is in very good condition with clear markings. Pommel shows some corrosion, release button works. Leather scabbard in very good condition with WW2 era green paint finish. Chape marked GF for US maker General Fireproofing.
