Belgian Model 1916 - 35 bayonet with leather frog

Original condition, uncleaned bayonet with leather belt frog. Belgian WW1 bayonet Model 1916 was used with the Mauser 1889 rifle. In 1935 the Belgians updated to the Model 1935 Mauser and converted Model 1916 bayonets to fit by bushing the muzzle ring from the original 17.5mm to 15.5mm. Bushing is visible. Blade length 17 1/4 inches (438mm). Steel scabbard is used with minor dents. Leather belt frog is unique with large leather bayonet keeper strap and in original uncleaned condition.
