US Model 1917 bayonet for the P17 Enfield rifle. Manufactured by Remington 1917 on left ricasso model number. Right side marked with US, flaming bomb and eagle acceptance marking with ’15 date below. Scabbard is US 1917 model with uncommon Maxim leather belt tab that holds wire belt hanger. Leather tab maker marked G&K and dated 1917. Green painted scabbard for WWII use primarily by Home Guard. Issued and used, very good condition overall.
