During WWII Germany modified captured bayonets for issue to police or occupation forces. This bayonet is modified from the French Model 1886 and still has quillon. 342mm blade length, overall 460mm. Alloy handle, cruciform blade with very pointed blade tip, shortened scabbard with leather hanging strap attached. Very loose fit of bayonet in scabbard.
