Lock marked Crown over VG, 1862 Enfield. Top of breech II*, broad arrow WD. Barrel has numerous proofs with broad arrow WD repeated. DC in diamond is stamped on side of stock below breech. Enfield stock cartouche is still visible but faint. Brass butt tang has Enfield 3 line inspector’s mark and is regimentally stamped 20 over 138. Bore is VG+, bright with strong rifling. Antique firearm, no licence required to purchase or own.
