Post WWII Eastern European submachine gun patterned on the Russian PPSH 41. Manufactured and adopted by Yugoslavian in 1949 it used a stick mag and a drum mag in 7.62 TT (7.62 x 25) same as the Russian PPSH 41. Marked on top of receiver with Yugoslavian crest and model number M49/57. This model was short lived as the Model 1956 (M56) was adopted.
