Original Mauser 1871/84 Infantry Rifle manufactured 1887 at Danzig arsenal. Prussian marked Crown over FW. Serial number on bolt does not match rifle. All other numbered parts match including last 2 digits on almost all small parts and screws. Stock is bright and metal surface are in very good plus condition. Regimental marking on butt tang. Bore is excellent. Action functions crisply. Original 11 x 60R black powder (.43 Mauser). Very well made and a marvel of German engineering not sustainable during later wars. Not an antique firearm, PAL required to purchase.
