Two H51 plywood construction wooden ammo boxes. Only one has lid. Brown painted but not stenciled suggesting they were never issued. Marked H51 CMk1 CPE Ltd 45 on the bottom. Wider than the .303 ammunition boxes at 5 3/8 inches inner width, it would accommodate .50 BMG ammunition. Inner length is 14 1/8. Great display item.
