Sometimes called a “clone” bayonet this is clearly a copy of the US M4 bayonet for the M1 Carbine. It is marked only US M4. The blade is a bright steel, perhaps stainless steel. One piece rubber grip is molded directly onto the tang and solid pommel is secured by a Phillips head machine screw. Believed to have been made by Carl Eickhorn in the 1970’s for military and civilian market to countries that still used the M1 Carbine. Interesting variant. Comes in US M8A1 scabbard manufactured by PWH.
