US Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) Gunner’s Belt Model 1918

For use by BAR gunner in 1918 when the rifle was introduced. Metal butt cup designed to hold rifle butt when fired from the hip. Four magazine pouches hold 2 mags each plus two small pouches for 1911 pistol magazines. Complete, very good condition, maker marked and dated 1918.
