US M1917 bayonet for Pattern 1917 Enfield rifle has British WW2 Home Guard leather frog. The bayonet was manufactured by Remington and accepted into service in 1929. The frog is marked B. H. & G. 39(?) for Barrow Hepburn & Gale. Very good condition. Frog shows wear with upper strap broken. The issue US belt hooks are in place. Scabbard painted green for WWII use.
