1916 manufacture. Clear cartouche on butt. Bolt body has been pinned. British and Canadian proofs. Bore is very good, dark, strong rifling and tight muzzle. Nose cap screw has been replaced with steel pin. Forend has been cut under middle band and glued back together, usually seen when rifle was brought home in duffle bag.
