Original Mauser 1871/84 Infantry Rifle manufactured 1888 at Spandau arsenal. Prussian marked Crown over FW. Serial numbers match including last 2 digits on almost all small parts and screws. Stock in very good condition with some stampings visible. Blued surfaces has some speckling, receiver is bright. No regimental marking on butt tang. Bore is excellent. Action functions crisply. Original 11 x 60R black powder (.43 Mauser). Very well made and a marvel of German engineering not sustainable during later wars. Not an antique firearm, PAL required to purchase.
