British service revolver adopted 1899 and issued during the Boer War. Chambered for the .455 Webley cartridge, not to be confused with the later Mk IV .38 S&W revolver. Six shot cylinder and 4 inch barrel. Hard black grips are molded Vulcanite rubber with diamond pattern checkering and in very good condition. Birdshead grip has provision for lanyard ring at the base, missing in this specimen. Overall finish is worn with very little blue remaining, replaced by grey patina. Deactivated, hammer cocks and clicks single and double action. No licence required to purchase. For sale in Canada only.
