Crown over VR, Enfield 1886 clearly marked on right side of receiver. British broad arrow, WD and proof marks in numerous places. Well worn rifle locally refurbished in the field typical of Mk IV Martini. Some original blue finish remains. Top of knox form marked EY, usually indicating that this rifle is worn out. Complete with sling swivels and proper cleaning rod. Bore is dark with strong rifling and no corrosion evident, surprisingly good actually for a rifle that has had such a hard life. Antique firearm, no licence required to purchase or own.
