Lot of three original wound badges, two black and one silver. The black one on the left in photos is a later manufacture and is magnetic. The other black wound badge is early production brass construction. Black Wound Badge was awarded for 1 to 2 wounds received in combat. The Silver Grade was awarded for 3 to 4 wounds. The silver badge is maker marked at the hook catch number 100 for Rudolf Wachter & Lange and the badge body shows maker or government authorized retailer mark L66 within a rectangle. Difficult to resolve in photograph because it is very small. Internet researched AI is not correct claiming that original wound badges cannot bear two marks.
