Description

Original example of German WW1 artillery shell fuze. Used on high explosive or gas shells fired from light howitzers or field guns this is a graze action fuze that fires upon impact. This model appears to be a later war fuze which used a mixture of steel and brass since brass was in short supply. Very interesting and researchable artifact. Empty and inert.
