Description

Original US made training dummy of Tellermine 42. These were made during WWII as training aids for disarming German mines. This model of trainer is a very good representation of the actual German mine whereas some other models are much simpler design. Complete with inert main igniter beneath pressure plate cap. Also includes pull type ignier that fits into side fuze well.  Additional fuze well on bottom of mine. Faintly stenciled DUMMY. Completely inert.
