Canadian knife bayonet for use on the FN C1 rifle. Manufactured in Canada by Canadian Arsenals Limited, formerly Long Branch Arsenal. 1956 dated, first year of manufacture. Issued and well used, as was the habit of the Canadian military of the day. Steel scabbard condition matches that of the bayonet suggesting both have been together a long time.
