Seven books that were originally owned by the Cawthra and/or Burnham families. Interesting books by themselves but the historical connection to the Cawthra and Burnham families of Etobicoke Ontario make these additionally valuable to collectors. The titles are all military-related and inscribed by either a Cawthra or Henry F.C. Burnham, husband of Helena F. Cawthra. One was given by Henry Cawthra, son of John Cawthra, who served with under General Brock in the War of 1812, to his daughter, Grace. Waterloo: The Downfall of the First Napoleon, G. Hooper, Inscribed by Henry F.C. Burnham. First few pages have been cut up.
