Made in USA on contract for British during WWII for use on the British P14 rifle. Manufactured by Remington dated 1 -17. No mounting slot cleanout hole in pommel. Comes in Remington manufactured (RE marked) British style P1907 dark leather scabbard with teardrop frog stud.
