Original German World War One casing for the main artillery piece the 7.7cm (77mm) field cannon. 9 inch (230mm) length, nicely marked. Manufactured at Karlsruhe Patronenfabrik. St means strengthened case, 367 is lot number. AUG 1917 is August 1917 date of manufacture. Sp255 is inspection mark and 67% Cu indicates copper composition of case is 67%. Complete with primer, empty and inert.
