Description

Used from the 1930’s this 8 1/2 pound practice bomb had a body made of Bakelite (plastic) with light tin fins. For practice use it was filled with weighting material such as lead balls. This specimen is empty and does not disassemble easily so we have not attempted to take it apart but it is obviously very light and empty. Used by RAF and some allied countries.
