Trench Art brass fire starter Mitchell Canada

Brass artillery casing reworked to a tankard appearance with a pumice stone on brass handle with ornate naval motif top. Sits on brass tray. Only marking is MITCHELL CANADA insert where primer would be on original artillery shell casing. Used as a fire starter by soaking the pumice stone in kerosene or oily fire starter then lighting when placed into fire. Overall height with handle is 12 inches. Case diameter 3 ¾ inches. Case with lid is 6 inches tall. Very good condition.
