Japanese Arisaka Type 30 bayonet late war production

Matsushita Kinzoku KK arsenal maker mark on ricasso (Matsushita Metalworking Company, the forerunner of Panasonic Corporation). This was a high quality bayonet maker throughout the war. The simplified processes of late war substitute standard bayonets is obvious on this bayonet with simple rectangular pommel, riveted grip panels, crudely finished blade with grinding marks evident and straight crossguard. Steel scabbard with plain tip. Very good original condition overall, blade sharpened.
