Mk 3 Turtle helmet converted to AFS London use

Original “D-Day helmet” , the Mk 3 turtle style with high mounted chinstrap bales. Repainted black and a decal applied for the London Auxiliary Fire Service. Original chinstrap and liner. No markings visible through the repaint. Interesting home front collectable and an uncommon early Mk 3 helmet.
