Canadian Mk II Helmet GSW 1941

General Steel Wares (GSW) manufactured helmet shell with their unusual designation of the helmet shell as Mk 1, even though the helmet is Mk II. The letters following GSW is the steel batch code. Dated 1941, non-magnetic shell. Liner is unmarked but size appears to be about 6 ¾ to 7. All original condition showing evidence of repainting. Interesting example.
