Prussian Jager Zu Pferd 1915 Pickelhaube

Pattern 1915 enlisted man’s steel helmet with grey steel fittings for wartime use including the uncommon Prussian Grenadier Regiment Helmet Plate. Steel Prussian eagle helmet plate with motto “MIT GOTT KOENIG UND VATER LAND”. Original very good condition overall with some denting to note at the rear of the helmet shell. Original paint and a maker name on steel tab fastened inside helmet. Leather liner is original and 1916 dated. Helmet plate fastened by 2 leather tabs. No spike has survived with this example nor is a chinstrap present. Back of helmet rim stamped with size marking 57.
