This Dutch post war clone of the British Mk II helmet made in The Netherlands for a brief period during 1955 and 1956 by Verenidge Blikfabrieken (United Tin Factories) and were supplied to Civil Defence. They were never used by the military. Grey painted with black leather skirt which means it was used by the Civil Defence Fire Brigade. Rim marked VB56 for factory and year plus a steel batch number 25SLN. EXC condition.
