Model 1871 rifle bayonet to fit the 11mm 1871 Mauser rifle. Maker is E. Wilhelm, Suhl. Spine marked with royal cypher of Wilhelm I of Prussia and dated 72 (1872). Regimentally marked on crossguard 4 GR 4 93. Very researchable. Blade is in good condition, full length 47cm. Some cleaning marks but not sharpened. Usual drag marks and impression from spring in scabbard throat. Some spots of corrosion on blade as shown in photo. No scabbard.
