German M24 Training Grenade

Very uncommon version of German Wehrmacht training grenade. Canister is heavy steel with red paint and holes to indicate training device. Handle marked Ub. for Übungs-Stielhandgranate 24 or “practice hand grenade Model 24). Dated 42 with maker code brb for Richard Rinker G.m.b.H. in Menden. Collectors are familiar with Rinker’s earlier code as two “R” s back to back. Matching code on canister and handle. Waffenamt stamp visible on handle. No fuze, string or ceramic ball. End cap has been repainted and fits nicely.
