German 98k bayonet Spanish Civil War export

Original German WWII 1884/98 III bayonet. Ricasso marked S/244G, manufactured by Mundlos, 1935 (S/244 maker code, G for 1935 production). Scabbard is Elite Diamant S/185 maker code. Believed to be an export bayonet sent to Spain in the late 1930’s for use in the civil war. Referred to as the m1936 bayonet it does not have German acceptance markings and has a 6 digit serial number on the crossguard consistent with other m1936 bayonets. This bayonet was issued and used so original blue finish has worn off the blade and scabbard. Tip of blade has been lightly bent, barely visible. Scabbard shows wear with light denting. An interesting and unique item.
