Dutch Model 1895 bayonet for the Mannlicher 6.5 mm infantry rifle shortened by the Germans to a blade length of 10 inches in 1942 for use by German rear echelon troops and Dutch volunteers. The Germans renamed it the Seitengewehr 104 (h) and the blade is specifically repointed with the scabbard shortened to fit the bayonet. Original integral belt hanger remains on scabbard. Blade is maker marked with large HEMBRUG on ricasso, the Netherlands state armoury. Inspector mark Crown over Z. 14mm muzzle ring diameter. Uncommon bayonet.
