The .45 ACP M3 “Greasegun” was intended as a replacement in WWII for the Thompson submachine gun being quickly and cheaply made. It was too late to see much use in WWII but was used in subsequent conflicts. This specimen is the original M3 configuration submachine gun with cocking lever on the side of the trigger mechanism. Comes with M9 flash hider and the very unusual M2 oiler. The deactivation process renders this SMG with no moving parts. Bolt does not move, magazine is not removable. Collapsible wire shoulder stock moves in and out. A very uncommon item for the US military collector. No licence required to purchase or own. For sale in Canada only.
