Very uncommon WW1 Italian bayonet for use with the Model 1891 TS Carbine. The bayonet was mounted by inserting the muzzle through the ring then fixing the bayonet by sliding it sideways over the lug from left to right. Marked Brescia on the ricasso indicating manufacture by the National Arms Factory Brescia. Blade is rounded a tip likely do to breakage of the pointed tip. Total length of blade now 290mm or 8mm shorter than specifications. Uncommon fluted steek scabbard in very good condition without denting.
