British made motorcyclist’s helmet made from compressed varnished fibre. Made by Empire Rubber Company in England, this was an economy pattern helmet provided to Canada early in WWII. Original fibre shell and paint. Marked on leather headband EMPIRE 67/8 Pat. App. For. Also has paper label inside shell Empire 1940 Broad Arrow with size 7 1/8 changed to 6 7/8. One suspension strap is broken and helmet padding has been removed.
