Utica Mk II Combat knife, US Marked, 1960 - 1962 era
CA$195.00
Utica was the first maker of the Post WWII Combat Knife. It is called the Mark 2, officially KNIFE, COMBAT, MARK 2. Manufacture started in January 1960 and the shape of the crossguard and colour changed in 1962 dating this example between 1960 and April 1962. Post War markings show US over the UTICA name and no USMC or USN markings. The WWII markings on original knives showed USMC or USN and makers were Ka-Bar, Camillus, Robeson and PAL. Original leather 9 rivet scabbard is correct for this early model Utica Mark 2. This example is well used, blade is sharp and shows wear from use. Scabbard is complete and in very good condition.
