Italian bayonet for Model 1891 Carcano rifle. Maker mark on ricasso is an R superimposed on a C an represents Renato Castelli, a maker of M1891 bayonets during WWII. Crossguard is clearly marked PS with date not stamped clearly but appears to be 1943. PS is the initials of the parts supplier, full name unknown. All steel scabbard is the less common fluted pattern with minor damage to the tip of the scabbard and missing a screw in the frog stud.
