German S 24(t) Czechoslovakian VZ-24 made under occupation

The S 24(t) bayonet was made at Waffenfabrik Brünn Werke (formerly the Československá zbrojovka a.s., Brno plant) in 1942/1943. Ricasso is marked dot, the letter code for that arms factory and so is the scabbard. There are no Czech markings on this bayonet or scabbard. Approximately 137,000 bayonets were manufactured at Waffenfabrik Brünn Werke during 1942/1943 after which production changed to the Kar 98k rifle and bayonet. A rare item. Condition is original, very good with rust patina to pommel and crossguard. Blade is very good but severely sharpened on one side most likely during the war period. Clearly marked dot on ricasso with Waffenamt acceptance stamp on pommel Eagle over 63. Scabbard also marked dot and dated 1942 (dot 42) with some rust patina on back side. Original leather bayonet frog.
