Original German WWII 1884/98 III bayonet. Originally manufactured and marked 44 cvl (Weyersberg Kirschbaum) this specimen was an export or captured bayonet reworked post war in Eastern Europe. Grinding and cleaning marks on pommel and blade are evident although serial number and maker code are still visible. Matching scabbard is in poor condition.
