British Pattern 1853 socket bayonet export

Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle and was used by many nations in many conflicts, not just England. This specimen does not have the traditional 3 line Enfield inspection stamp with E, over Crown and inspector number. Instead there is an E over date 9/73 plus additional unidentified markings. Possibly an export bayonet. It has some surface corrosion and pitting to the sharp edges as shown in the photo. Missing locking ring screw. No scabbard.
