Remington 1917 has Canadian broad arrow acceptance markings on the pommel. Canada purchased a number of P17 rifles in early World War II (100,000). They were mostly used for guard duty on the home front, specifically for POW guards but also were used by the RCAF. Very good condition with light wear. Blade is parkerized light grey. Scabbard is P1907 type with large frog stud. Much black paint remaining.
